What are server groups?

A Server Group is a collection of servers that can be assigned to plans. Instead of assigning individual servers to plans, you assign groups — making it easy to reorganize access without modifying every plan. Example setup:

Creating a server group

  1. Go to Admin → Server Groups
  2. Click Create Group
  3. Enter a Name and optional description
  4. Save the group

Adding servers to a group

  1. Open the group from Admin → Server Groups
  2. Click Add Servers
  3. Select one or more servers from the list
  4. Click Save
A server can belong to multiple groups.

Assigning groups to plans

  1. Go to Admin → Plans and edit a plan
  2. In the Server Groups section, select which groups users on this plan can access
  3. Save the plan
Users on that plan will see all servers from all assigned groups in their dashboard.

Use cases

  • Geographic tiers — offer servers in specific regions on premium plans
  • Protocol tiers — WireGuard-only servers on premium plans; OpenVPN on basic
  • Capacity management — move a server out of a group for maintenance without impacting plan configuration
